Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the necessity of empowering employees in the Central Organizations and their Subsidiary by presenting an individual-psychological empowerment model along with the mechanical dimension of  empowerment by implementing and testing at the Khatam Al-Osia cultural foundation in accordance with the Spreitzer empowerment model. The research method used in this research is descriptive. Based on the purpose of the research, it has the applied form. In terms of collecting and analyzing the data, a quantitative and descriptive research is a survey type. The statistical sample in the present study is a sample of 122 staff members of the Khatam Al-Osia Cultural Foundation. The participants in this study is selected using simple random sampling method. The data are collected using a field questionnaire and a questionnaire is developed based on the research literature and the Spreitzer model. Reliability of the questionnaire is very high due to the calculation of the Cronbach's alpha coefficient. For analysis, descriptive statistical methods and inference statistics have been used. Both single-variable and two-way or multivariate analysis methods have been used, as well. The results showed that emotional factors (as self-efficacy, feeling of having the right to choose, feeling effective, feeling important and feeling of trusting others) have a significant effect on empowerment of employees, along with mechanical factors.
